In principle, there are 3 effective ways to restart the router:
Manual
Perhaps this is the easiest of the ways, as it is suitable even for novice users. You can restart the router by unplugging it from the outlet for 15-20 seconds. This action will not lead to a failure of the settings, since this problem no longer exists on modern devices.
Mechanical
It is necessary to press the Power button on the back of the router - the device will be turned off. Wait a few seconds and press this button again to turn it on. It is important in this case not to confuse the Power button with the Reset, because when you press it, the settings will be reset.
Program
The latter method is a little more complicated than the previous ones, but usually it is used if the router is in hard-to-reach places and it is not possible to perform a mechanical or manual reboot.
We are often asked the question: "how to reboot the router remotely" or "how to enter the settings of the router from the phone"? The programmatic method involves rebooting the device through the browser. You must enter in the address bar: 92.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, then press Enter.
